The Miami Heat are on an absolute roll right now. After dropping four games in a row, the team just won their seventh straight game, handing a loss to the Brooklyn Nets. A sturdy performance from the Heat, Butler and the rest of the squad seem to have finally found their groove.

Jimmy Butler puts up big numbers to increase the team?s win streak to seven games. Here are three takeaways from the game as the Heat manage to stay afloat without Tyler Herro in their lineup.

The Miami Heat defeated the Brooklyn Nets with a final score of 122-115. The Nets had multiple players in double-digits but in the end, it was the Heat?s stars that carried the team and took the game away. Jimmy Butler went off against the Nets throughout the game, dropping 36 points, along with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Before this game, Butler had lost five straight games to the Brooklyn Nets.

And by the looks of it, Jimmy Buckets seemed to have taken that personally.?Butler had one haymaker after another throughout all four quarters, making sure to keep the Heat ahead of the Nets. The six-time All-Star was the catalyst behind the Heat?s 14-0 run going into halftime. Jimmy Butler seemed to be all over the floor. He had a couple of long-range bombs from beyond the arc. But what made the biggest difference was his mid-range shooting, paired with his ability to draw fouls. Butler had numerous and-one plays and was nearly perfect from the free-throw line.

Jimmy Buckets went 10-11 from the free throw line and shot a healthy 12-19 from the field. Despite his offensive turnout, Butler made a substantial contribution to the defensive end of the floor as well.?He may have had just 1 steal but had 3 blocks for the game, causing the Nets offense to take perimeter shots instead of driving the paint. His 3 assists were crucial every time the Heat went on a scoring run. The 5 rebounds helped the team create a few fastbreak opportunities. Every time Butler hit the boards, it gave Bam Adebayo the advantage of running the floor and generating some offense for himself.

The former Most Improved Player single-handedly helped the Heat to its seventh straight win.

2. The other offensive juggernaut

The other giant on the offensive end of the floor for the Miami Heat was none other than Duncan Robinson. The team has been playing without their sharpshooter, Tyler Herro since the start of this season. Herro was sidelined in last year?s playoffs with an injury. And in this game, Robinson seemed to have taken over the role of Herro to perfection. Robinson finished the game with 26 points, scoring a bunch of them from beyond the arc. He shot 10 threes from long distance, making six of them. Apart from that, Robinson went 8-14 from the field, something that the Heat desperately needed and he made sure to step up and deliver.

Duncan Robinson?s performance seemed to be a flashback to his early years in the league. Both Robinson and Herro were touted to be absolute gems of a find by the Miami Heat?s scouts. However, in the past few years, Robinson?s shooting and scoring seemed to have declined as time passed. So, if Herro were to stay out longer of the lineup, maybe Robinson could bring up his game in his absence.

Here?s to hoping that Robinson goes back to his early playing days.?

3. Heat’s exceptional performances as a squad

The Miami Heat have won seven straight games in a row. And while this win over the Brooklyn Nets may be credited to Jimmy Butler, the rest of the games won was a team effort through and through. The way the Heat have been playing, it seems as if the team is a well-oiled machine on the floor. The team?s playmaking and chemistry looks to be at its absolute peak so far at the start of this season. The Heat squad has always emphasized ball rotation under head coach Erik Spoelstra. And that has been paying off for the team in these past few games. Especially in these back-to-back games.

Taking into consideration the last three games that the Heat have played, the entire team has not crossed the 10-turnover threshold in any of those games. This just goes to show how well this team knows one another. Even head coach Erik Spoelstra has been experimenting with lineups, putting in veterans with young players to see how it turns out. And so far, it has been paying off. With this win, the Heat are 8-4 and third in the Eastern Conference standings.
