Why does Jayson Tatum get criticized left, right, and center? The player is elite in all senses, as evidenced by the NBA 2024 title. However, he doesn’t the recognition he deserves, even unselected for the finals MVP. If you saw his performance, you know the ball rolled out of the park when Jaylen Brown. Kudos to Brown, though, who put in a valiant effort. But Tatum leads the team. He is the lynchpin of the Celtics’ offense and Steve Kerr dropped him during the Olympics.
Tatum, though, remains ready to face the Golden State Warriors and looks forward to meeting his friends. He enjoys a fine relationship with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green as they have had intense past battles. Moreover, he didn’t speak about Steve Kerr in the press conference as JT gave his flowers at the prospect of meeting his companions.
He looked forward to meeting the Warriors as Tatum said, “We playing against Steph Curry and somebody that I’m close with, and obviously I’m close with Draymond Green. Finals matchup from a few years ago… We’ve had a lot of battles over the last couple of years. So sure, it’ll be fun.”
