Porzingis was previously with the Washington franchise but was traded as part of their rebuild. When recently asked about the players he takes inspiration from, the Latvian national listed his ex-teammates like Carmelo Anthony and Luka Doncic. The 28 YO said that their “win it all” mentality has made him better equipped to share the stage with Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
