Everything that Jaylen Brown touches turns to gold! The 27-year-old went on to win his first NBA championship and doubled it down with the Finals MVP title. And, during the championship parade, he had a gala time, celebrating with his fans and paying tributes. Unfortunately, the star lost his ring in the parade and sent out a public request to fans to return it, if found, as he promised a reward. Days later, the reigning MVP picked up his lost ring from the retriever and also received star-studded shout-outs on social media except for a hilarious ‘disapproval’ from Jalen Brunson.
While the Boston Celtics players are yet to receive their championship rings, the players already donned rings that had ‘Juice’ written on them. Brown went in person to collect the lost ring from the fans, reflecting the importance that the ring holds for him.
He presented them with an autographed NBA Finals ball, a Celt’s jersey, and an envelope as he collected the ring from them. When the fan returned the envelope and requested him to reinvest, Brown sternly said, “That’s for you. One act of kindness is what we need.”

Moreover, he grabbed a picture of them before leaving. Upon receiving the ring back, the star forward uploaded a flurry of IG stories in joy and wrote, “THANK YOU LUKE AND ADI I’LL SEE YOU COURTSIDE AT THE (RING) CEREMONY.” Reacting to the wholesome video shared widely on social media, fans and unexpectedly, Travis Scott showered love in the comments.

Notably, superstar rapper Travis Scott wrote, “Another reason why (Celts) my fav. Fans just get it.” Following him, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young wrote, “This tough af.” However, on the other end, Jalen Brunson pulled off a hilarious response.
Why did Jalen Brunson disown his kind gesture?
Yes, this question should confuse you.
While it was Jaylen Brown who did the hard work to reward his fans, why and when did Jalen Brunson come into the picture? There is a reason, and Brown has nothing to do with it. When Brown met the fans and interacted, a voice from the background asked, “Is that Jalen Brunson?” There isn’t any clarity on whether the fan asked it genuinely or in an attempt to mock Brown.
But it sure did catch the attention of the NY Knicks guard. Brunson took the comments section of a Bleacher Report post that shared the wholesome video. Addressing the fan’s question, he wrote, “Nah that wasn’t me sir,” leaving the fans in disbelief.
The guard seemed to be in a light mood amidst the Knicks’ off-season moves. First of all, Julius Randle would return to the mix after his shoulder injury, along with a healthy Mitchell Robinson. They also re-signed OG Anunoby, stacking their frontcourt.
On the other hand, Brunson had the opportunity to reunite with his college mate, as the Knicks roped in Mikal Bridges. Given the team’s aggressive run in the last season, the team may show up in New York City for the parade next year.
