Speculations surrounding JB’s future in Boston is still one of the major topics discussed when it comes to the Cs. And while those talks continue, there’s been another development. Well, not exactly a development, but rather a possibility of a star move, courtesy of Jaylen Brown.

In a video tweeted by NBA Central, Brown and Bamonte were seen in close quarters with each other. In what looks to be a party of some sort, Bam and Jaylen greeted each other, before they posed for a picture. The short clip was captioned, “Jaylen Brown links up with Bam Adebayo,” followed by a fire emoji.

We are well aware of the dilemma Miami is in with Jimmy Butler. While there’s no question as to the success the Heat has had in Butler’s five-year span, ultimately, there needs to be a definitive result. And with the 6x All-Star’s continuous absence during key stretches, Pat Riley has a lukewarm response when asked about their franchise star.

Since his move to Miami, Butler hasn’t played more than 64 games. However, he has been eligible for a 2-year extension up to $112.9 million with the Heat since July 7. And there’s no doubt that “Playoff Jimmy” will be looking to get that. “That’s a big decision on our part to commit those kinds of resources unless you have somebody who’s going to be there and available every single night,” Riley had stated.

There’s no doubt that Miami would get a sweet deal if they were to trade Butler. Brooklyn Nets, for instance, has come up as a serious destination for the 34-year-old. Interestingly, Butler himself is reported to be interested in a move to the ‘Big Apple’. However, his age might be a factor that would be considered before any such deal can be agreed upon. And if the Heat is bent on trading the Texas native, they might have to throw in something or someone to sweeten the deal.

What’s your perspective on:

Could Jaylen Brown and Bam Adebayo's chemistry spell trouble for Jimmy Butler's future with the Heat?

Have an interesting take?

Either way, whether these instances point to something or stay just that, the Celtics fans are over the top with joy at a potential Bam move to the ‘Beantown’.

Bostonians go hard in doing their bit at recruiting ‘Bamonte’ as the teammate of Jaylen Brown

If we were to describe the comment section of this very brief video in one word, it would be ‘steadfast’. And the creativity is also top notch. Take for example, this user. The forbidden duo that would dominate the league.” One of the elite defensive players in the league, Adebayo is a nuisance for his opponents thanks to his skills at guarding just about any positions. Despite his 6’9 frame, Adebayo’s perimeter defense is up there with the best of them.

As for Jaylen Brown, the man is a scoring threat. His offensive versatility allows him to score at will. And while the 6’6 guard is one of the league’s better perimeter defenders, with a 6’9 center taking care of it, JB can further focus on contributing more on both ends of the floor.

Another fan seems to be quite sure of Bam’s destination. “He so obviously a Celtic.” Taking this to the next level is this guy. “Bam for porzingis get it done.” That is a bit of an overreach, wouldn’t you say? Yes, our resident Latvian big man has an affinity for injury.

But when the 7’2 center is healthy and on the court, Boston turns scary. Really scary. So, the chances of that happening seems unlikely, but kudos for the enthusiasm! Yet another fan seems to have already decided the 2026 NBA champions.

“tatum x Brown x bam 2026 nba champs,” this self-declared Jayson Tatum enthusiast commented.

We can’t be sure why the user skipped 2025. But if we were to guess based on the fact that they are an obvious Celtic fan, it could be that it’s a given that the 2025 champions are obviously the Celtics. And the 2026 title prediction is likely a race for a three-peat. Well… to each their own, yes?

And finally, this fan was just so casual with his recruting pitch. “Jaylen chillin wit his future Celtic teammate,” followed by a clover and a fire emoji. Subtle, real subtle!
