Jalen Brunson looks past tonight’s loss and also hinted at a greater concern for the side. The NY Knicks hosted the red-hot Golden State Warriors at the MSG. The visitors didn’t give a chance for the home side, as they continued to lead the game offensively to its entirety. Brunson emerged as the pick of the NY attack, dropping 27 points, but he lacked support and ended up succumbing to a 99-110 loss.

Following the game, he sent out a positive message to his teammates and fans. Brunson said, “We can be upset, pissed off the rest of today until we fall asleep. Tomorrow morning, we’ve got to be focused on the next one.” Next up, the Knicks face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.

After dropping a positive boost for the Monday night game, he also gave out troubling signs regarding his neck injury. The star guard missed his Tuesday night game against the New Orleans Pelicans because of a neck spasm. When a reporter asked about his neck, Brunson said, “Fantastic.” But at the same time, when the reporter further asked if the neck could be a long-term concern, Brunson said, “Next question, please.”

Injuries have been the latest bummer for the Big Apple side. Despite not having superstar cadre players in their line-up, the Knicks put up a dominant show so far in the league, securing the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, and OG Anunoby have been the core behind the Knicks’ success.

While Randle and OG Anunoby have missed several games and are yet to return from injuries, Brunson’s response might scare the NY fans. Nevertheless, the guard’s neck injury doesn’t seem to be a serious one.

Apart from that, the NY fans also have positive news regarding Julius Randle’s health.

The Knicks injury – Julius Randle

During tonight’s clash between the Warriors and Knicks, visuals of Julius Randle having a go at the bucket were aired. He has been out of the Knicks’ fold for quite sometime now. He suffered a shoulder injury with a surgery scare. However, in a recent update, the star himself cleared that the surgery had been ruled out. Randle further stressed that he will look to do everything in his checklist to get back on the court.

The sight of the star power forward, shooting the ball could be a massive boost for the Knicks fans. The team lost 7 out of their last 9 games, and would look to get back on track to secure their playoffs spot.
