Ja Morant, the Memphis Grizzles Point Guard is making quite the news over a few months. Besides being one of the best Guard in the NBA, he strives to achieve more. Morant also has the ability to become a world-beater in the future. Currently, he is going through a bad phase. Suspended for 25 matches, which will be unpaid, Ja apologized for what happened. He defended himself by saying that he is working on his mental health and aiming to be a better person. Amidst all these, his relationship with ESPN, the famous sports channel, continues to degrade.
Wonder what got him suspended? Also, what is his current stance on ESPN?

ESPN published a list to demonstrate the 100 best athletes to look out for, in the NBA. Ja Morant was surprisingly in the 35th position. They justified their response by taking into consideration his off-court behavior and the suspension. Failing to illustrate a clear picture, ESPN faced massive backlash for that in social media. Morant took to his X (formerly Twitter) account and probably warned the renowned sports channel and website.
no Uturns ??

“no Uturns“, wrote Morant. ESPN’s conflict with Morant is nothing new. Back in July 2023, they streamed a full episode featuring a fake tweet of Ja Morant. In the tweet, as provided by Ballsack Sports, The Grizzles star wrote, ?If you put MJ in today?s game he?s just another superstar. We got me, Steph, Luka, Dame, Trae ? and then guys like Bron, KD, Giannis, Kawhi ? it?s not just one superstar and a bunch of you know, average dudes, you feel??
Not to mention, all these were extremely unprofessional from a famed sporting channel. They should have verified that in detail. Further, Ballsack Sports don’t even have a blue tick, questioning their authenticity.

Morant was suspended for the second time after he flashed a gun in an Instagram video. It cost him 7.6 million dollars on match fees as the ban is unpaid. The first suspension was for a similar reason, but it would have lasted for only 8 matches. Morant’s obsession with guns is making him pay the price.
The 24-year-old would be looking forward to a motivated start to the season on Grizzles’ 26th game. With an upgraded roster, the Grizzles too would eye for the knockouts.
