Taking to her official Instagram account, Alyssa Holmes uploaded a picture of her and another individual keeping their hands close on top of a swollen womb, indicating that some good news is on the way. Holmes herself indicated the same by simply adding a heart emoji as a caption. With neither of their faces visible, it was hard to indicate whether the man in the picture was Scottie Barnes himself. What confirmed it, however, was the remark he left in the comments section, which read “Life with you,” accompanied by a ‘teary-eyed’ and a ‘white heart’ emoji.

According to her TikTok profile, Alyssa Rae Holmes boasts over 24,200 followers. Her posts having generated over 1.4 million likes. From videos highlighting herself exploring the city of Paris to playing the ukulele in a field full of cows, the content creator gives the impression of being an avid explorer. However, none of her posts indicate any connection she shares with the NBA star. Not even the mere presence of a basketball could be felt in the posts.

Despite her not choosing to make her alleged relationship with Scottie Barnes initially known, her recent post has now changed things. Sure enough, no sooner had the same gone viral when social media users descended onto the comments section to share their thoughts.

There is no official confirmation of where Alyssa Rae Holmes is from. However, one social media user seems to have investigated and speculated that it may be Toronto itself. As a result, he could confidently reply to the trending post by stating “With a lady from Toronto too (teary-eyed emoji) he staying for sure.”

The Toronto Raptors know the worth that Scottie Barnes holds. Therefore, they have made sure that he knows it as well. Back in June, the player signed a 5-year, $224.2 million contract with the franchise. With an average annual pay of $44.8 million, the deal makes Barnes the highest-paid member of the Raptors. It makes him the 32nd highest-paid NBA player during the 2026-27 NBA season. The above-mentioned comment comes just a few months after the Jalen Green-Draya Michele relationship first started to make heads turn. The 17-year age gap, with Green being 22, became even more intriguing when Michele was pregnant with the NBA player’s baby. The social media personality confirmed the birth of the couple’s daughter back in May. Jalen Green isn’t the only one, as Anthony Edwards is currently dating a woman 8 years his senior.
