The Golden State Warriors suffered a heartbreaking 109-114 loss against the New Orleans Pelicans last night. The loss plummeted them to the 10th seed, tied with the Sacramento Kings’ record at 45-36. Dub Nation’s heart also skipped a beat when their Golden Boy Stephen Curry rolled his ankle in the closing minutes of yesterday’s game. Their fate now depends on Sunday’s finale against the Utah Jazz. But will Steph be available for it, following his injury scare?
The Warriors’ latest injury report has Stephen Curry’s status for tomorrow’s game as questionable. He is still feeling the effects of the ankle sprain and might miss the Utah clash. They might be in deep trouble as several other superstars, including Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Chris Paul, and Jonathan Kuminga, are also questionable to suit up for the season finale. Gary Payton II will remain out for his 3rd straight game because of a calf injury.

The ambiguous status of the Warriors’ big guns might put Golden State’s season in serious jeopardy. A win tomorrow gives them a chance to move up to the 8th or 9th seed. Stephen Curry and Co.’s primary focus is to finish 8th so they get two shots at the playoffs.
However, that would require the Lakers losing to the Pelicans and the Kings losing to the Trail Blazers. All the Warriors can do is win against Utah and hope for the best outcome. But will the Warriors be able to do so if Steph does not play?

So, fans can expect to see Stephen Curry on the court one more time despite what the injury report suggests.
