“We gotta flush this one down the toilet and we get ready for Sac.” Steve Kerr urged his squad to forget Monday’s embarrassing loss against the Celtics and focus on the upcoming games instead. Of course, that will be difficult to do because the forty-point defeat was the Warriors’ worst home loss in the last forty years. But they have another massive challenge at hand as they face the Kings tonight. The good news is – Stephen Curry is likely to be available for the crucial West encounter!
Yes, the Baby-Faced Assassin is not listed on the injury report. Well, his availability was a concern because he tweaked his left ankle during last weekend’s Wizards clash. The incident occurred when he got tangled up with Jordan Poole after blocking his layup attempt, forcing Steph to leave the game.
Fortunately, the injury was not serious enough to keep him out the following game. Obviously, his presence tonight is a massive boost for the team because Curry has clearly been their best player, averaging 22.9 points and over six assists. While he is likely to suit up, the Warriors need to be extremely cautious because Steph has been dealing with multiple lingering injuries apart from the tweaked ankle, including knee issues.

His availability is a major relief because the Bay Area franchise is already set to miss Draymond Green at least for the next three games. The reason? A left calf strain he suffered during his comeback game against the Wizards. Just three minutes into returning after a three-game hiatus with an illness, Green was forced to leave the floor with a calf issue.
Adding to the concerns, Kyle Anderson will also miss his fourth straight game with a left gluteal bursitis. Young stars Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga will remain out with their respective injuries. More reason for Steph to suit up and give his team a fighting chance.

Yes, they are coming into the game with a fully healthy roster as no player is on the injury report so far. That means Steph might need to have a game of his life to help his team come out with a win.
Well, the two teams have met once before this season and the Kings came out on top that time. That too with a dominant thirty-point victory. Unfortunately, the Warriors might be looking at a similar outcome tonight despite Steph’s availability because that’s the kind of season they are having. Hopefully, Monday’s loss will work as motivation to get them over the hump. Whose side are you on?
