Coming into the Tuesday night game, both teams have a lot to prove. Correction! Both teams need immediate action to save themselves from sinking. Firstly, the Miami Heat are amidst a three-game losing streak and they are fresh off the double overtime loss against the Sac-Town. Most importantly, they are also awaiting a major transition amid the Jimmy Butler trade drama. On the other hand, the Golden State Warriors also have a growing crisis.

Tonight, both teams have something in common. Before locking horns, both teams have fallen short against the Sacramento Kings. While the Heat gave a tough fight, the Bay Area side barely stood any chance. In fact, they lost the game in the very first quarter.

Speaking of the loss, Stephen  Curry said, “Nobody likes to get embarrassed like that, especially the way we started the first quarter… when you’re looking up and it’s… double-digit lead before the first timeout and 36-21 like we’re not really built for, especially with the situation like to have that crazy comeback” The team’s morale is definitely not in the right place. On top of it, they have a concerning injury report.

Firstly, they will miss their rising star, Jonathan Kuminga for at least the next 10 games, citing an ankle strain. The team felt the young power forward’s absence in the loss against the Kings. Apart from Steph and Andrew Wiggins’ offensive push, the team barely had any support from the rest of the players. So, it’s high time that stars like Dennis Schroder, Buddy Hield, and Moses Moody lock in and fill the void in the offensive side. Other than Kuminga, the team has also listed:

  • Brandin Podziemski (Abdomen) – Out
  • Gary Payton II (Calf) – Out

On the other hand, apart from Jimmy Butler‘s suspension, the Heat is a pretty healthy side. At the same time, the team has listed out two players: Josh Richardson and Dru Smith.

Stephen Curry & Co vs Miami Heat: Starting Lineup and Depth Chart

The Dubs have reached the end of their 6-game home run. As of now, the team has 3-2 run. Overall, the team has had a decent run, considering the recent downfall. Stephen Curry, who was seen with a pretty demotivated mindset after the Kings’ loss, may look to bounce back stronger. And, whenever the superstar is angry, there will be a carnage. So, we can expect something special tonight.
