Oklahoma City Thunder Injury Report – Will Shai Gilgeous-Alexander play against the Lakers tonight?
Well, OKC fans, with the regular season’s end nigh, the injury report submitted by your team will worry you. There are 4 players listed as OUT, while another is listed as QUESTIONABLE. However, you’ll be pleased to know one thing.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is not one of those players. He is off the injury report for the Los Angeles Lakers game and is AVAILABLE to play against them tonight. Jaylin Williams, who missed the last game with a left ankle sprain, is the only Thunder player listed as questionable; his appearance against the Lakers tonight will be a game-time decision for Mike Daigneault.
However, Ousmane Dieng, Alex Ducas, Ajay Mitchell, and Nikola Topic will not be appearing in the Lakers game tonight. They are all listed as OUT on the injury report. Dieng, who has a strained calf, will miss his 12th game for the Thunder with no timeline for his return. On the other hand, Ajay Mitchell, who is OUT recovering from toe surgery is “on track with his progression,” per coach Daigneault.
Meanwhile, things remain murky for Alex Ducas and Nikola Topic. Ducas is OUT with a strained left quad. Whereas Topic is recovering from knee surgery after suffering a gruesome injury earlier this season. Neither of them is expected to play for the Thunder anytime soon.

No one other than Shannon Sharpe and other diehard Lakers fans expected the final score on Sunday. Least of all the Thunder squad who were playing at home. But now, having gone through that, we expect SGA and co to be much tougher customers this time around. Moreover, the Lakers had an incredible shooting night on Sunday. And that’s something which is not likely to happen again. But if it does, perhaps Unc was right. OKC, KFC, UFC…You know the rest.
