Which draft class does Quentin Grimes belong to?
Born in Houston, Texas, Quentin Grimes was into hooping from quite an early age. He started his basketball journey playing for The Woodlands College Park High School, where he put up stellar performances in his senior year, enough to earn the boy a place in the McDonald All-American lineup. After early exposure to the spotlight, Grimes had many offers, but he chose Kansas as his new home.
As a freshman, Quentin Grimes played a great season averaging 8.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and two assists. But, after declaring for the 2019 NBA draft, he withdrew his name and decided to transfer to his hometown and play for the University of Houston instead. After playing two fruitful seasons at Houston, the youngster decided to then declare for the 2021 NBA Draft.

The 2021 draft class consisted of big names such as Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green, and Evan Mobley. Quentin Grimes was named as the 25th overall pick by the LA Clippers, but he was soon traded to the New York Knicks, where he started his NBA journey. As a rook, he did not start a lot but featured in 46 games for the Knicks, where he averaged 6 points, 2 rebounds, and an assist.
