“You see how much balance these guys have with their lives. I don’t have kids and family and a wife.” Unlike his fellow NBA OGs, LeBron James and Stephen Curry, who have been happily married for several years, Kevin Durant continues to boast his single life. But while The Slim Reaper has never tied the knot, over the years, he has constantly been rumored to be involved in romantic relationships with several women. And the latest person joining that list is Kendall Jenner!
As per NBACentel’s latest tweet, KD is dating the multi-millionaire supermodel. But how true is this report? Well, there is a high chance that it is nothing more than a false rumor because it’s coming from a parody account infamous for posting fake reports. So, NO! Kevin Durant is not dating Kendall Jenner. But why the sudden link?
While there is no proof of KD dating Kendall, the reality TV star was involved in a romantic relationship with his teammate, Devin Booker. Yes, they had a rather public relationship back in 2021 as the couple were spotted together at multiple events and parties. And although they reportedly went their separate ways a year later, Book and Kendall were seen together once again last year, fuelling rumors of a rekindled romance.

Maybe, linking her to Durant is just a way to cause rift between the two teammates as the Suns fight to end their ongoing struggles and climb the West standings. Another reason to believe that the rumor was fake is that KD has not been public about his relationships since calling off his engagement with former WNBA star Monica Wright. And he has been pretty clear about his stance on relationships ever since!
Kevin Durant DOESN’T want a girlfriend, too “Zoned In” on his work
During an appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast last year, KD revealed the reason behind staying away from long-term relationships, “Coz, I don’t want a girlfriend… I’ve started to understand women a little bit more. Early on, I understood that like she’s not mine. Even if she may be my girlfriend, she might be influenced by other people.” Of course, being linked to a superstar like Durant comes with a massive spotlight. And its easy to get influenced in such position, which KD realizes.

Moreover, he is too focused on his craft to find time for a family. He shared the sentiment on Draymond Green’s podcast three years ago, “I always felt that I was really zoned into my work. Eventually, I do want that. But the older I get, it feels better. I get to know myself more, understand my situation a little bit more.” Obviously, he still dates women every now and then, but more often than not, it’s short term, “I enjoy spending time with, it’s just not as long as maybe you like to spend time with people, man. Two days for me is cool.”
Well, it looks like Durant is happy with his current situation despite his confession about not having a family. Maybe, his mindset will change once he decides to hang his boots and start a new chapter of his life. What are your thoughts?
