Fans are in for a small treat before they head to open their Christmas presents. Amid Victor Wembanyama’s hot streak, the thriving SA Spurs are all set to take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. Most importantly, the Sixers have finally found their mojo amid their injury-riddled season. So, the fans can expect a lot of drama on the floor. However, the important question is, will the hoop nation witness the clash between the 7-foot giants? Embiid vs Wemby?
Well, the situation seems very optimistic, looking at the injury report. Heading into the season, Embiid had said that he would never play a back-to-back game in his career anymore and followed it with a delayed debut as well. 26 games into the season, and the former MVP has just played 7 games. The only upside is, the big man has found his form with two 30+ point nights in the last three games.
Notably, Joel Embiid was in recovery mode, dealing with his broken sinus cavity. He sat out for the Cavs game, citing the same. But the team hasn’t listed him on the injury report for the Spurs challenge. So, The Process might lace up against Victor Wembanyama.

Other than that, the Philly team has three players on its injury report.
- Jared McCain (Out) – left knee meniscus surgery
- Eric Gordon (Out) – Surgery on the right side of his mouth
- Ricky Council IV (Questionable) – Knee
On the other hand, the Spurs have a pretty healthy roster after a long time. Notably, in the last game against the Trail Blazers, the team had the healthiest roster since the first game of the season… So, fans can expect the French big man to carry his prime form alongside a deep roster against the Sixers. Nevertheless, the team still has players missing out not because of injuries but G-League duties.
- David Duke Jr.
- Harrison Ingram
- Riley Minix
