Becoming the franchise with the most championships after beating the Mavs in the finals, the Celtics took over the streets of Boston on Friday for the highly-anticipated parade. While the entire city was busy celebrating the festivities, what caught people’s attention was Finals MVP Jaylen Brown being accompanied by WNBA star Kysre Gondrezick on a duck boat. And that sighting quickly sparked rumors of the two stars possibly dating each other.

However, with JB recently sticking to his “single” status and him previously being linked to 44YO supermodel Bernice Burgos, fans got a bit curious about what the actual relationship status of the Celtics superstar is.

Apart from enjoying the parade together on the duck boat, Brown also posted an image of Kysre holding his Finals MVP trophy on his IG story. But with no previous links between JB and the Chicago Sky star, it is still uncertain if they are actually dating. Moreover, Brown has long been rumored to be involved in a romantic relationship with Bernice Burgos. Spotted together for the first time at a NYC pub back in September 2022, Brown and Burgos have been linked together for nearly two years.

Adding more fuel to those rumors, the two also got cozy on a beach a few months later, the pictures of which went viral on social media. And soon after, Burgos took to social media to boast about her mystery Valentine, who many speculated was none other than Brown. Since then, Burgos has been spotted at multiple Celtics games, making fans believe that there is definitely something brewing between her and Brown. But JB has never acknowledged those rumors.

Jaylen Brown claims to be “Single”

Despite the countless rumors, Brown recently made it clear that he is currently not involved in a relationship. “I don’t have a family. I’m single. So, I’ve been binge-watching Harry Potter.” He said, while revealing how he spent his break before the finals against Dallas. But with his single status, there is a possibility that the sighting at the Championship parade might be the start of something new between Brown and Kysre. Moreover, the 26YO WNBA star has previously been in a relationship with an NBA player, which unfortunately didn’t end well.

Following her stint with the Indiana Fever, Kysre was dating the Rockets’ Kevin Porter Jr. But things took a dark turn last September when Porter was arrested in NYC and put behind bars for allegedly assaulting the Sky star. Reportedly suffering several bruises and a broken bone, and evidence against him, Porter pleaded guilty in the court to harassment violation and misdemeanor assault.

With a traumatic past from her previous relationship with an NBA player, it might be too early to tell if Kysre and Brown are a thing. But their recent link up hints toward it. As of now, Brown, at least publicly holds a single status. What are your thoughts?
