It has been a shaky couple of weeks for the Bucks since winning the Emirates NBA Cup. They have split the last six games and currently rank fifth in the East standings. Of course, a lot of their recent inconsistency has been because of their superstars being in and out of the lineup due to injuries. And that might become a problem once again tomorrow! That’s because Giannis Antetokounmpo highlights their latest injury report for the Nets clash.
Yes, The Greek Freak is listed probable for tomorrow. The reason? A right patella tendinopathy. It was only during yesterday’s Pacers encounter he returned from a four-game hiatus because of illness and back spasms. He even looked in solid form, scoring a 30-point double-double. So, his return to the injury report with a completely fresh injury concerns the Bucks fans.
Obviously, his absence will be a massive blow to the team as Giannis Antetokounmpo has clearly been their best player, averaging 32.6 points and nearly 12 rebounds. Joining him on the probable players list is Khris Middleton, who is still feeling the aftermath of his offseason bilateral ankle surgery. Although he has only played ten games so far this season, Middleton has been solid since his return, averaging 13.8 points and over five assists. Surely, the Bucks would hope their two superstars suit up tomorrow to boost their winning chances.

Meanwhile, AJ Green is questionable to play due to a lumbar contusion. Well, the young guard has been a key part of the rotation and is averaging 7.7 points. Adding to the concerns, AJ Johnson, Chris Livingston, Liam Robbins, and Tyler Smith have all been ruled out.

Obviously, both stars will be in the starting lineup if they suit up tomorrow. However, Bobby Portis will probably replace Giannis if he sits out of the game. Meanwhile, Taurean Prince could take over in Middleton’s absence. But their probable status makes them likely to play despite injury concerns.
For the Nets, this is what their depth chart looks like:
Position | Starters | 2nd | 3rd |
PG | Ben Simmons | D’Angelo Russell | Reece Beekman |
SG | Keon Johnson | Tyrese Martin | Dariq Whitehead |
SF | Cameron Johnson | Jalen Wilson | |

Well, they are scheduled to play the Raptors tonight and a lot of their lineup for the Bucks game will depend on tonight’s outcome. As of now, Ziaire Williams (knee), Bojan Bogdanovic (foot), Trendon Watford (hamstring), and Cam Thomas (hamstring) are all out for tonight, which means they might miss tomorrow’s game as well.
Obviously, all eyes will be on their latest recruit, D’Angelo Russell, who is set to make his Nets debut tonight. Upon the Bucks’ last meeting with the Brooklyn-based franchise the previous week, the Nets somehow came out on top. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard did not suit up that night. Surely, the Bucks will be looking for revenge tomorrow and hopefully, they will have their Big Three available to lead them to victory.
