After a solid start to the season, Phoenix has hit a rough patch, losing 5 of their last 6 games. The most recent heartbreaker was a 109-105 defeat to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday in San Francisco. The Suns fans, here’s some good news just ahead of tomorrow’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. 2 key players were spotted in practice, and that’s fueling hope they’ll be ready to hit the floor!

This is a great sign as the Suns gear up for a fresh push. Fans must be feeling pretty optimistic, knowing these players could bring some much-needed strength to the lineup. Devin Booker and Grayson Allen were part of the practice, Coach Mike Budenholzer revealed. “Devin did pretty much all of practice today. We got in some 5-on-5. It was a good day for Book,” said Budenholzer.

Mike further added that even Allen did the “same thing”. But Booker is still questionable for this game, and Allen is probable. After taking an elbow to the back of the head from Detroit Pistons forward Simone Fontecchio on a putback during the second half of a Dec. 21 loss, he’s been in concussion protocol. As a result, the hoopster has missed the last four games for Phoenix. “I feel good now. No more concussion symptoms,” said the 29-year-old.

And for D-Book, it looks like he’ll be a game-time decision. “We’ll meet here this afternoon, see how they’re feeling coming off the practice. And, you know, again, it’s always see how they respond,” said the 55-year-old coach.

But what about the rest of the Suns? Let’s take a look at their injury report and depth chart.

It’s looking like Bol Bol’s availability for Tuesday’s game against the Grizzlies is in question, as he’s dealing with knee issues. The Suns aren’t exactly rushing to get him back, especially since he’s not a consistent part of the rotation. Expect the team to take a good look at him during the shootaround and warmups before they make a decision.

In a bigger blow, Royce O’Neale has been ruled out for the game after spraining his left ankle in Saturday’s 109-105 loss to the Warriors. He struggled through just 12 minutes on the floor, finishing with zero points, one rebound, and a block. There’s no word yet on whether this will sideline him for more than one game, but he could be back this Saturday against the Pacers.

The NBA has suspended Jusuf Nurkic for 3 games after he got into an altercation with Naji Marshall during Friday’s 98-89 loss to the Mavericks. Nurk committed an offensive foul, which sparked a scuffle where he then swung his arm and hit Marshall in the head. Definitely a mess all around Phoenix right now!

The Suns started strong at 12-8, but things have taken a turn for the worse. They’ve now gone 3-8 in their last 11 games, including losing five of the last six. On the other hand, the Grizzlies are in a much better place. They’re not only first in scoring but also sixth in offensive efficiency. Plus, they’ve won seven of their last 10 matchups.

Who do you think will come out on top in this matchup? Will the Suns bounce back or will Memphis keep rolling?
