“We said Golden State, and he was like, ‘Oh, we’re lucky now; at least it’s a good team’”. Dennis Schroder revealed how his son was as candid as one could get when revealing the trade news to him. Having already spent his 11-year-long NBA tenure with 7 other teams, the 31-year-old pg became the latest individual to be traded before the Feb deadline. While Schroder’s son may believe that dad is lucky, the shift won’t mean much if the Bay cannot do better than their 14-11 record. The upcoming matchup against the Grizzlies was set to be his first big test. Fortunately, his playing availability shouldn’t face a sudden switch as per the current terms.

NBA reporter, Erik Slater, confirmed that Dennis Schroder will take on the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedEx Forum arena tomorrow. This update comes after he had not made an appearance during the previous game against the Dallas Mavericks. However, the reason behind the same was not because of any injury concerns. It was because his trade was still officially waiting to happen. Now, however, the German hoopster is a proper part of Stephen Curry and Co. as he is willing to show the team what he can do.

While Schroder will be present, the Warriors are still not completely free from injury concerns. According to reports, Moses Moody has now been listed as ‘Doubtful’ for the upcoming game. Moody had earlier sustained a case of left knee patellar tendinopathy. Therefore, the game against the Grizzlies may end up being the 3rd consecutive matchup he will miss. Therefore, in light of the update provided for Schroder and Moody, the starting lineup for the Golden State Warriors is expected to look something like this:

Will Dennis Schroder be the missing piece the Warriors need to dominate the NBA again?

Have an interesting take?

The upcoming Warriors-Grizzlies game will certainly be one to watch out for. Especially with Dennis Schroder now confirmed for the same. After all, the last time the point guard went up against the Memphis Grizzlies, he and Taylor Jenkins took things a bit too far.

What happened between Dennis Schroder and Taylor Jenkins?

The recent Brooklyn Nets-Memphis Grizzlies matchup saw the NY franchise losing by a score of 135-119. This marked the first game that the team lost after winning the previous 2 times against Ja Morant and Co. Tensions had begun to emerge between members of both teams even before the game ended. After all, even while the Grizzlies led 74-72, the Nets had already carried out a 13-0 two-minute blitz. It also included two technicals, a delay of the game, and Nic Claxton arguing with the officials to get back on a Memphis 3-pointer. And then… the situation was worsened by Ja Morant putting out a bait.

All of it culminated in Dennis Schroder starting to engage in trash-talk with the Grizzlies’ head coach, Taylor Jenkins. In a transcribed video, Schroder could be heard stating “We busted that a– two times; f–k out of here with that s–t”.

In response, Jenkins reportedly said, “You’re gonna let him f—–g talk to me like that? That’s f—–g horses–t! F–k that s–t! F–k you mo———r!” If you want to let out a big ‘Yikes’, go ahead!

Just because Dennis Schroder shifted to another team does not mean that the tension between him and Taylor Jenkins is going to evaporate that easily and conveniently. The Warriors have already faced enough altercation troubles with Draymond Green on their squad. Therefore, the Bay Area debutant better not do anything more that may make the Golden State regret their acquisition!
