Brace yourselves for an East vs. West showdown as the Phoenix Suns travel across the other side to face the Indiana Pacers in an exciting clash tonight. The home team is coming off a recent victory and are feeling confident with a 17-18 record. Whereas the Suns are struggling with three straight losses. To make matters worse, their injury report is adding to their miseries. The question that’s troubling most is whether Bradley Beal will take the court.

Suns Injury Report

What’s the Suns’ Big 3 without their star, Bradley Beal? The 31-year-old was added to the injury list due to a left hip contusion. Beal sustained the injury during their matchup with the Grizzlies on Tuesday and is currently listed as questionable for the upcoming fixture.

The good news for the fanbase is that Beal was spotted participating in shootaround ahead of the game. This could mean there’s a slim chance the franchise may decide to play him on Saturday.

Besides Beal, Collin Gillespie‘s status has also not been fully confirmed by the Suns. The two-way guard has missed chunk of games since early November because of his right ankle fracture. Collin has now rejoined practice. However, it remains uncertain whether he will join the NBA squad or head to the franchise’s G League affiliate. For now, he is listed as out, as per ESPN.

That’s not it for the Suns. Jusuf Nurkic is also on the report. He will remain out as he is serving a 3-game suspension following an on-court altercation with the Mavericks. And the last name on the list is Royce O’Neale. The forward sprained his left ankle during the game against the Warriors, and registered his name on the report. The franchise announced that his condition will be re-evaluated after ten days. On the flip side, the Pacers are equally affected by their injuries.

Pacers Injury Report

On top of Indiana’s injury list is Aaron Nesmith. The swingman sprained his left ankle, and the injury became significant enough to cause him to miss all games since November following the incident against the Pelicans. Isaiah Jackson also suffered a really bad injury in the same game where he tore his right Achilles tendon.

The first player added to the list this season was James Wiseman, and he’s still on it. Wiseman had an injury similar to Jackson’s, but it happened during a game against the Pistons, and he had to have surgery. Unfortunately, there’s no clear timeline for when he’ll be back. And with that, we’ve covered the teams’ injury lists. Now, let’s take a look at the potential starting lineups for both sides.

Unlike the Pacers, the Suns will be able to proceed with their usual lineup. In Nurkic’s place, the franchise could consider options like Mason Plumlee, Oso Ighodaro, or Bol Bol. Moreover, if Bradley Beal is dropped, it would add to their challenges.

The Pacers have already snatched the win in their previous matchup last month. Now, the Suns will be desperate to break their losing streak this season and grab a much-needed victory. Will they be able to do it against the Eastern Conference team tonight? That’s something worth watching. So, tune in at 7:00 PM ET to catch the live action from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
