The Mavs continue to be unstoppable! Despite going up against a persistent force like Anthony Edwards and Co., they’ve managed to record 3 consecutive wins in a row. Just one more victory stands in Doncic and Co.’s way of reaching the NBA finals for the first time since 2010-11. While Ant-Man constantly received universal praise, the Twolves’ losing streak has now placed the youngster under a serious level of scrutiny. However, according to Draymond Green, the blame should be heading in another direction.

Since the past couple of weeks, Dray has been clocking in as a 5th member of the ‘Inside the NBA’ crew. After Game 3, he admitted that Anthony Edwards could have been better with his decision-making. However, the ultimate blame would go to not him but to Chris Finch. “You keep rolling the same guys out there, with the same game plan each game, and you follow behind 3-0, so at what point are you gonna make an adjustment?” asked Green.

“Not worry about feelings. We can’t worry about Karl-Anthony Towns’ feelings or Rudy Gobert’s feelings … he has not done a great job, and he’s blaming his guys. That’s not good”. Dray highlighted that the head coach’s decision to keep KAT and Gobert did more harm than good. This was visible in Game 3, as Karl-Anthony ended 38 minutes on the court by scoring just 14 points. 5-18 field goal attempts and 0-8 three-pointers. At the same time, Rudy Gobert could only put up 9 points. If it was up to him, then he would give more playing time to Naz Reid and Kyle Anderson!

Draymond Green requested Chris Finch “to stay in the game!”

Draymond Green has often made use of his platform to send out his praise to the Anthony Edwards-led Timberwolves. The same courtesy is seldom extended to the head coach. The last time that the Warriors star sent a message personally for Finch, however, he highlighted just how important the coach is for the roster.

Almost four weeks ago, as the Timberwolves were closing up their playoff series against the Suns, Mike Conley accidentally hit Devin Booker and ended up having a serious collision with Chris Finch. As the coach was unable to get up, several members of the roster surrounded him, picked him up, and escorted him to the locker room.

As soon as the incident caught his attention, Draymond took to his official X account and wrote, “You gotta stay in the game Coach. It’s 1:40 left. Wish him well though!”

Fortunately, Finch was able to recover from his fall and returned to guide his team after a few games. That same guidance, however, has become the recent target of Green. The Timberwolves will now have to go all in and win all four remaining matchups to have a shot at the NBA Finals.
