The showdown between the Chicago Sky and Dallas Wings on Sunday saw Mabrey soar high. She displayed exceptional finesse as she scored on 8 of 14 field goal attempts and outstanding precision by making 13 of 14 free throws. Riding the wave of a three-game winning streak, the Chicago Sky showcased their offensive brilliance once again. They were routinely scoring 104 points in each of these recent victories.

Securing a complete sweep of the three-game season series, Chicago had previously defeated Dallas in close games of 94-88 on their home court back on May 28. This was followed by a 104-89 just days before this most recent matchup.

Dallas, though, was anything but tame. Satou Sabally showed off her skills with 25 points and eight assists. And while displaying her prowess, she tripped over Courtney Williams during the fourth quarter. It led to both players tumbling to the ground.

With barely 5 minutes left during the fourth quarter, Sabally rallied to get a shot in. While attempting to do so, she tripped over Williams’ feet. Both the players ended up falling.

Although the ball touched the rim, Sabally failed in making the shot.

Also adding to the Wings was Natasha Howard, who improved on her most recent triple-double with an impressive 24-point effort. Prior to being ejected late in the fourth quarter for making contact with a referee, Arike Ogunbowale also scored 14 points for the Wings.
