As if the NBA All-Star Weekend wasn’t nail-bitingly exciting as it is, the latest update on the celebrity performances at Indianapolis has got everyone thrilled. With new additions this time around, Silver has truly outdone himself. The biggest highlight of the 2024 All-Star would be the Stephen Curry vs Sabrina Ionescu three-point challenge.
Back to the star-studded part of the Weekend, there will be a healthy mix of Indiana natives, Grammy Winners, top industry icons to ensure the All-Star this season will be the bar everyone will compare to in the coming years. Anyway, let’s take a closer look at the who’s who of America’s favorite weekend!

The NBA All-Star Games get a splash of native and Grammy entertainers
The All-Star Weekend takes off on February 16th, Friday. Taking center stage with the U.S. National Anthem is Indiana’s own band, The Brothers Footman, while Canadian singer, Kyra Daniels will sing the Canadian National Anthem. And Gainbrige will officially commence the start of the All-Star Weekend 2024 with the Rising Stars.

But that’s not all. Grammy winner and actress Coco Jones will be taking the stage on the 17th to start the night with the U.S. National Anthem, as well as the Black national anthem, ‘Lift Every Voice’. Jones will then help segue into the All-Star HBCU Classic featuring Virginia Union vs Winston-Salem.
Joining the already elite group are four-time GRAMMY Award-winning country singer Keith Urban and GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, Walker Hayes. They will be performing at the NBA Experiences Saturday Pregame Concert on the 17th as well. Indianapolis isn’t done yet. Let’s take a look at other notable names for the entertainment lineup!
Lil’ Wayne, among others, to star in the All-Star Weekend
The league’s multi-day interactive event, NBA Crossover, focused mainly on the fans, will also have several celebrity performances. They include GRAMMY award-winning artist, Zedd and entrepreneur/global cultural icon, T-Pain on Friday. The 5x GRAMMY-winning rapper, Lil’ Wayne, for his part, will be showcasing his talents ahead of the All-Star Game on Sunday.

Also performing at halftime on the 18th is daytime talk show host and youngest EGOT winner, Jennifer Hudson. But not before Indiana native, 13x GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Babyface, will take the stage for the U.S. National Anthem. The Juno Award winner and lovely Charlotte Cadin will sing the Canadian National Anthem.
No All-Star Weekend is complete with the celebrity game. Team Shannon vs Team Stephen A. will feature the likes of household names and global names like content creator and entertainer Lilly Singh, Chinese heartthrob, Dylan Wang, the explosive streamer, Kai Cenat, and more!
