The MSG stage is all set for the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers to fight it out to reach the Conference Finals today. This is going to be a nail-biter after the Knicks fell 116-103 in a loss to the Indiana side. To watch the New York side get rid of their drought to reach the Finals since 1999-2000, many celebrities are showing up in support. Celebs spotted include John Stewart, Ben Stiller, Spike Lee, Fat Joe, Tracy Morgan, and John McEnroe. Even the legal drama show Law & Order fame Chris Meloni and former NBA player Larry Johnson marked their attendance on the court for the final Knicks vs. Pacers game.

After all the injuries that the New York Knicks sustained, losing their offensive foundation of the team, Stiller is there to support them for the final showdown against the Pacers. With almost 2 minutes left in the first quarter, Ben Stiller’s prayers went well for the Knicks as OG Anunoby supported the offense by scoring 5 points alongside Donte DiVincenzo and Jalen Brunson. Such an intense star and presence of various celebrities even left NY citizens baffled, as one of them posted an “I’m stressed” message before the commencement of the last Knicks vs. Pacers semifinal game.

The tension from the fans seems genuine at this point for the Knicks, for even if their key players have returned, it will take some time to build up the momentum. On the contrary, the Pacers are riding on their winning streak right now with their strategy to match the pace of the opponent team with explosive offense like they did in Game 6.

The story of the Knicks vs. Pacers ultimate showdown so far

The Indiana Pacers broke through the New York Knicks’ defense in the first quarter of the game itself. They dominated the first half with the scoreline of 39-25. Though DiVincenzo of the Knicks tried his best, the Pacers played as a team and outclassed the home squad. Each of the starting five on the Pacers’ roster contributed to the score on the board in the first quarter. However, for the Knicks, Jalen Brunson and DiVincenzo did not do the same pairing, as Jalen only scored 6 points in the first quarter.

The only thing that mattered so far in the first half of the Knicks vs. Pacers game is the depth of the teams. Even the bench players from the Pacers scored baskets against the Knicks, including Isaiah Jackson, Ben Sheppard, and T.J. McConnell. The three of them together scored 15 points in the first half of the game. Along with them, the trio of Myles Turner, Pascal Siakam, and Tyrese Haliburton shattered the whole Knicks defense with their performance. Their combo scored a staggering 41 points in the first half.

With such a blast-off start from the Pacers, the only response that the Knicks got was from their bench player, Alec Burks, who scored 14 points in the first half. He rose to the occasion and fulfilled the team’s need for the baskets in the second quarter. The second half was a game-changer for the Knicks in the last game. Will Brunson again hold the reign of the Knicks vs. Pacers second half and draw his team to the playoff finals?
