While neither the Pacer nor his better half Jade Jones have chosen to discuss the subject in detail, his interest in the music from the late ’90s allowed him to be a part of the same circle as MJ, Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, etc who’ve put Michael Jackson on an honorable pedestal.

Hali’s love for the late music artist has surfaced just as Halloween comes closer. The 24-year-old took to Instagram to share a post with his 1.1 million followers. Despite Halloween being more than a week away, he seems to have brought everyone into its spirit (pun intended) by adopting Michael Jackson’s iconic look from ‘Thriller.’

After all, if one has to make the most of the spooky holiday, then why not recreate the spookiest song that the ‘Billie Jean’ artist made? Amongst all who shared their reaction at the Pacer going the ‘Halloween distance’ was none other than Caitlin Clark, who wrote, “So hard omg.”

The WNBA star’s early response even beat that of Tyrese Haliburton’s girlfriend Jade Jones, who posted, “I’m paralyzed.” Jade, who had adopted a version of Sabrina Carpenter’s iconic heart dress for herself, was able to get some cute snaps with her partner to commemorate this annual occasion.

Ever since he has been in the public spotlight, Tyrese Haliburton has not shied away from highlighting his love for Halloween. As a result, over the years, fans have been treated with some interesting getups. Back in 2020, the pandemic year, which was already scary enough, the hooper pulled off another classic and popular look: The Joker.

While many would have chosen to go for the Joaquin Phoenix Joker look, given that the Oscar-winning actor’s movie had made waves only a year ago, Tyrese Haliburton instead went for the beloved Heath Ledger Joker. Meanwhile, the iconic DC Villian wouldn’t be complete without a Harley Quinn by his side, a role that Jade Jones was happy to fulfill.

The following year, he would top the Halloween spirit by dressing up as… The Grinch? Seems like someone got confused between what needs to be there for October 31 and December 25! Despite this, no one could deny the effort that went into the look, as he also donned a pair of Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Grinch” to complete the outfit.

Miles Morales and the Spider-verse Saga returned to theatres in 2023, and so the duo of Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones dressed up as the two web-slingers: Miles and Gwen Stacy. Through this year’s costume, Hali proved that one can always return to the classics, and make it better.

From the looks of it, the hooper seems to have had better luck with his Halloween costume than Caitlin Clark. After all, while the WNBA star also went viral for her choice of a getup, the one word that can describe the reception she got over it could be: ‘Confused.’

From the Instagram stories that Tyrese Haliburton’s girlfriend shared, fans found out that even Caitlin Clark was able to join the power couple for the festivities. One of the photos she shared gave a full head-to-feet look at the 2024 Rookie of the Year’s getup. CC was dressed in all black, from the leather jacket to the leather pants, and even the boots. With no clear answer, nor any hint from the hooper herself, it was up to the fans to discuss what was going on.

One social media user straightforwardly asked, “What are they?”, while another expressed his confusion by stating, “Wtf is that fit Caitlin?” No one in the comments section could land on an answer other than Catwoman, with one user claiming, “Is she Anne Hathaways cat woman?!”

Caitlin Clark could have avoided all the confusion being directed towards her if she had maybe worn a set of cat ears to go up with the ensemble. After all, it certainly worked for Monica Geller, and that iconic look is remembered today! On the bright side, though, CC at least didn’t make her better half dress as a pink rabbit.
