Savannah James, wife of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, has spent the past couple of years creating an identity that separates her work from that of the All-Time highest NBA scorer. From launching her businesses to engaging in philanthropic work, and recently starting her podcast, the 37-year-old has covered a wide spectrum of activities. Recently, she added another feather to her cap by launching a women empowerment initiative ‘Let it Break’. During a recent interview, she provided more details on it.
Discussing ‘Let it Break’ with the renowned magazine ‘Harper’s Bazaar’, Savannah revealed how the initiative was established to help women “become the best versions of themselves”. Emphasizing overall physical, spiritual, and mental development, the mission would provide members with the educational programming, resources, and tools they require to help them develop better relationship-building skills.
Mrs. James also revealed how much she would rely on proper Mental Health in her daily life. “I have to have it,” said Savannah while discussing the well-being of the mind. “If I’m working from a glass half empty, I’m not good to anybody.”

The 37-year-old also expressed her desire for all women to develop a selfish nature, not for anything negative, but for their betterment. Savannah wants women to take occasional time out to breathe, focus on themselves, and not get uncomfortable if they are idle for some time. “We are maestros, we do a lot, and we need it sometimes,” Savannah continued.
Savannah James used therapy as a way to “find out more” about herself
Savannah James has been advising people to follow the art of prioritizing oneself. After all, being the wife of one of the greatest players of all time and the mother to two teenagers and a 9-year-old girl, Savannah can speak from personal experience about occasionally taking some time out only for herself.
Apart from following her preaching in her own life, Savannah took a step further and tried to know more about herself through external means. In an interview with ‘xoNecole’ in May 2023, Savannah revealed “I’ve gone to therapy. Anything just to find out more about myself and the way that my brain functions in certain situations”.
Stating how she is a woman getting to a certain age, Mrs. James highlighted the need for women to feel young not only from the outside but also from the inside. Savanna emphasized giving equal importance to both her mental and physical well-being.
“I took a super-heavy intention with my health, moving my body, doing things that may sound weird, juicing for three months. I went on a detox program and felt like I was able to tap into meditation, and my mind was much clearer.” Savannah revealed.

In this day and age, people often forget to prioritize their mental health, which later causes them to have issues. By bringing it to the forefront, Savannah James is promoting the ideology of living a healthy lifestyle.
