If Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat’s beef wasn’t enough, Butler’s agent has now joined the fray. When Shams Charania had reported that the 6x All-Star was open to joining the Phoenix Suns, Bernie Lee had some fiery words for him. With Butler getting suspended for the third time this month, maybe his agent isn’t in a good mood.

The Heat suspended Butler again on Monday, marking his third suspension this month. This time, they cited his “continued pattern of disregarding team rules.” Apparently, things boiled over after Butler stormed out of practice, which earned him an indefinite banishment. Earlier incidents included Butler missing a team flight and breaking other team policies. It’s like the drama just keeps piling up. And Lee joined in too today. Once again. One X user decided to confront Bernie Lee. They suggested he focus on doing his job as an agent instead of “playing dominos.” Lee didn’t hold back in his response. “I’m f—ing trying, Darryl,” he fired back. “S–t.”

This month must’ve been very stressful for Lee. The drama with Jimmy Butler and the Heat hit another peak earlier this week when Butler missed a team flight, leading to the 2nd. Channing Frye stirred the pot on the Road Trippin’ podcast, claiming sources told him the team spent “a couple of hours” waiting on Butler on the tarmac.

Frye had more to say, accusing JB of holding up the plane because he didn’t want to talk. “This time, Jimmy held up the whole plane because he didn’t want to communicate,” Frye said.

Lee wasn’t having it, though. He quickly shut down Frye’s story with a post on X. “This is just stupid and not that it needs to be said but 1000 pct did not happen,” Lee wrote. It must be tough being Butler’s agent.

Because even after his third suspension, JB continued to have fun on social media.

Jimmy Butler didn’t miss a beat after the news of his suspension dropped. He took to Instagram, posting a hilarious clip from the Martin sitcom, where Martin Lawrence’s character roasts his friend Tommy for not having a job. Butler even added a pic of Tommy, played by Thomas Mikal Ford, to his story. The cherry on top? He tagged Kevin Love, who chimed in with a Training Day clip of his own.

Butler and Love have a history of throwing some online shade about the Heat saga. Remember when Butler hinted at wanting out of Miami? Love couldn’t resist sharing a Boyz II Men meme with their faces, plus Tyler Herro’s and Kyle Lowry’s, photoshopped onto the album cover, all while the group’s “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday” played in the background.

And he didn’t stop there. After Butler wrapped up his two-game suspension with a win over the Nets, Love posted a hilarious clip on Instagram. He shared a scene from Casino, where Joe Pesci’s character goes off on Robert De Niro for talking behind his back.
