The GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James has been a never-ending affair. But now it seems to be heading towards some end, and not the end. It’s a hard task to convince a loyal fan of either veteran to accept that both legends can be equally valued and respected. However, Gilbert Arenas, in an attempt to roughly settle the debate, discovered the diminishing trend bizarrely amidst Skip Bayless’ retirement rumors.
In the latest episode of No Chill Gil, the former player responded to fans’ comments on his livestream. And one particular comment triggered the MJ-Bron debate. This fan wrote, “U really defending bron from no one bruh. This riding too much. Talk about wnba or olympics lmaooo. This crazy riding.” As soon as he read this, Arenas jumped straight into the mix, trying to convince the fans that they shouldn’t hate the other legend while defending their idol.
Moreover, Agent Zero even brought in a scenario to defend LeBron James. He touched on a controversial opinion that claims Bron was relevant because of His Airness. However, he then went on to say, “Or is Michael Jordan’s name relevant because he’s being compared to LeBron James? I can tell you this and this is 1000%.” He questioned the viewers and then presented them with a scenario that didn’t seem to favor MJ.

Importantly, he didn’t stop and wasn’t in the mood to. Arenas further amplified it, saying, “If Skip Bayless retired, if Stephen A. Smith retired, who’s gonna who’s gonna be bringing up Michael Jordan stuff? See and this is what makes you guys stupid to me.” Notably, fans consider Skip Bayless as the certified LeBron James hater for his constant downpour of criticism of the LA Lakers superstar throughout his NBA career! On the other hand, Stephen A. Smith also has a similar reputation. Nevertheless, Gilbert Arenas didn’t just call out the veteran analysts, but then attempted to make a further point with the ‘ultimate scenario’.

Amid Skip Bayless’ retirement rumors, Arenas drops another hammer
Moving forward in the episode, Arenas took another shot at Skip Bayless with a hypothetical situation. Before making that situation up, he asked a simple yet stinging question. “How can someone trust your opinion if you’re biased?”
He continued, “Let’s say LeBron James needs one vote to win his next MVP, and Skip Bayless has it and this right here. This MVP ties Michael Jordan. Do you think Skip Bayless gives a f*** what LeBron James’ stat is to give him the vote? No, he’s gonna automatically go the other way.” Importantly, Gilbert Arenas made it clear to his audience that Skip Bayless would go against Bron no matter what. Whether that was because of his inclination to MJ being a senior reporter witnessing decades of basketball or for whatever reason.
