Ever taken any extraordinary steps to make ‘Date Night’ special for your partner? It can be something as simple and yet extravagant, like the iconic ‘2-minute date’ from ‘How I Met Your Mother’. Or, you can go out and explore a world that not many get the chance to do through their lifetime. After almost 13 years of being together, Stephen Curry may have now realized that he needed to come up with a more unique idea. Fortunately, the out-of-this-world thing he did, was something that Ayesha will not forget for years to come!
Earlier today, the mother of four took to her official Instagram account to share a series of pictures with her 7.9 million followers. From the looks of it, Stephen Curry took Ayesha all the way to NASA for date night! The power couple was photographed standing next to a few turbines, getting a close-up look at an actual moon rock, and spending time in a flight simulator.
Reminiscing about the memorable day, Ayesha Curry attached a caption: “That one time my baby took me to @nasa and I got to fly (teary-eyed emoji). My real ones know how this makes me feel. I love you @stephencurry30 . Best day date ever. #latergram”

Anyone who may have wanted to have a similar unique experience on date night was there penning their reaction.
How did NBA Fans and celebrities react to Stephen Curry and Ayesha’s ‘romantic’ visit to NASA?
Allison Holker, a dancer who has performed in ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and the 2002 Winter Olympics, reacted by posting a simple ‘heart emoji’. Comedian and television host, Loni Love, reacted by writing, “Love this!!!”
Stephen Curry has certainly gone above and beyond, on several occasions, during ‘Date Nights’. From a candlelight dinner under the stars that had Ayesha stating “Pinch Me”, to “enjoying life” with some wine tasting and donning matching fits at the US Open, the Warrior doesn’t seem to just dominate on the basketball court! He seems to be setting an example, for all the others out there too, on ways that they can create a new memory with their better half.
Devi Brown, the ex-wife of NFL star Duane Brown, also shared her reaction, posting, “Wow so special!”

What’s your perspective on:
Stephen Curry's NASA date: Romantic genius or setting the bar too high for the rest of us?
Have an interesting take?
After having spent more than a decade being together, one has to do something from time to time to create a ‘special’ feeling. Although, Curry may not have had to go to such an extent during the early parts of his relationship. In fact, during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel’s show, details of the Splash Bro’s first date went public. Ayesha highlighted that things were kept simple, as she revealed “I picked him up in my ’98 Astro van. He had on 3XL shorts, so that’s a sign of the times. It was our first official date.”
When asked what they did, she replied, “We did Madame Tussauds. Listen, we were 18 and 19, so if that, like, clarifies anything. And we got chai tea lattes.” From Madame Tussauds to NASA, that is certainly a big leap!
One social media user reacted by writing “I wanna go here my sis was telling me bout this place”, accompanied by a ‘raising hands’ emoji.
Steph may have cashed in on the invitation he received from NASA back in 2018. However, the reason behind the invite was more targeted at the team from the space agency wanting to prove the star wrong. After all, the Warriors star created a viral moment during an appearance on the Winging It pod. Steph denied that humans had ever been on the moon, stating, “They’re going to come get us. I don’t think so either. Sorry, I don’t want to start any conspiracies.” Well, NASA did make an attempt to “come get” Curry soon after.
In response to the player’s controversial remarks, the space agency’s spokesman, Allard Beutel, said, “We’d love for Mr. Curry to tour the lunar lab at our Johnson Space Center in Houston, perhaps the next time the Warriors are in town to play the Rockets. We have hundreds of pounds of moon rocks stored there, and the Apollo mission control. During his visit, he can see firsthand what we did 50 years ago, as well as what we’re doing now to go back to the moon in the coming years, but this time to stay.”
Even renowned astronaut Scott Kelly wrote on X, “Steph, so much respect for you, but re the moon landing thing, let’s talk. DM me.” Both Scott and Curry did have a 16-minute conversation on IG Live. If that wasn’t enough to clear the athlete’s ‘doubts’, now having seen the moon rocks themselves may have done it!

After all, even after so many years, if you can still create a memorable ‘date night’ experience for your partner by taking their interests into consideration, then what’s better than that? From what Ayesha wrote about “My real ones know how this makes me feel”, Stephen Curry was certainly ‘in-tune’. One social media user engaged in some self-pity by writing “& I can’t even get a ride to the store”. Well, unfortunately, not everyone is Stephen Curry. In fact, according to a story highlighted by Stars Quest, Stephen Curry once even ended up giving a stranded woman a ride. However, she didn’t realize who he was until 3 years later…
Overall, the majority of reactions were positive towards the recent personal initiative that Stephen Curry took. Spending a lovely day with Ayesha, while learning more about space, is like killing two birds with one stone, romantically!
