This is where science meets sports! And this happened quite literally. In the NBA world, it’s rare to find someone who didn’t miss out on their scholarly accolades. Jaylen Brown is one such rare gem. With a degree in history, philosophy, and cultural studies, he also dominates the hardwood. Tonight, with the love for science etched deeply in his mind since childhood, the Boston Celtics superstar fulfilled his dream of meeting his childhood hero.

It all began a few weeks ago when Brown randomly sent out a post on his X handle, expressing his wish to meet the legend, Bill Nye. The X post read, “How can I meet Bill Nye the science guy,” with a GOAT emoji. Bill Nye, who is popularly known as the ‘Science Guy’ among the 90s kids, is a television personality. He was known for introducing scientific concepts to children in an entertaining way. Thus, winning JB’s heart.

While the ‘Science Guy’ show didn’t air after 1998, Jaylen Brown finally had the opportunity to meet him in the Capital One Arena’s tunnel.

One of the reporters didn’t fail to address the wholesome moment at the post-game presser after the C’s comfortably defeated the Wizards. The reporter asked how his manifestation came true, referring to the X post. Brown replied, “I can’t remember, maybe I even tweeted. I think I was just up thinking about the educational experiments and just crossed my mind, ‘Man, I gotta meet this man.'”

Following that, he revealed how Bill Nye made his childhood exciting, saying, “He made learning fun, growing up, I used to be excited when the teacher used to say we watching Bill Nye today. So, looking back on it, to be able to shake his hand for helping me on my educational journey was pretty cool.” It’s truly a treat for someone who likes science!

Jaylen Brown gets whatever he manifests on the internet

The reigning Finals MVP has everything going in his favor. After the grand victory over the Dallas Mavericks in the Finals, the star forward lost one of his rings in the championship parade. Guess what? Brown didn’t hesitate to ask his fans to do him the favor to find it. The superstar put up a picture of the ring on his IG stories and offered to give a reward to whoever helped him find it.

Two of his fans eventually found the ring and informed Brown. Surprisingly, the Celts forward visited the fans himself and presented them with an envelope and an autographed ball. Moreover, he promised to give courtside seats for the Celts’ ring ceremony at the start of the season.

Following that, now he had his manifestation fulfilled in a few weeks. Next up, I guess, he just has to share a post, manifesting the Celtics’ back-to-back championship. Well, looking at the way the Celts are playing this season, the team wouldn’t necessarily need Brown’s manifestation.
