Dean Wade stages a late drama in Cleveland. After trailing by 16 points in the last quarter against the mighty Boston Celtics, Wade pulled it back with his shooting prowess. The 27-year-old dropped 20 points in the fourth quarter to help his team to have a close 104-105 win in front of the NFL Champion Travis Kelce. The Chiefs star, who sported a Cavs tee, went haywire, witnessing the game and came down to congratulate the star after the game.

Moreover, speaking of his efforts in the post-game interview, Wade doubled down with a humble response. He said, “My teammates had the trust in me to take those shots… Just having that belief in me, motivated me… luckily they went in.”

The top-seeding Celtics stepped into the game, fresh off their dominating victory against the Golden State Warriors. And without any hesitation, the visitors continued to dominate the Cavs, winning all three quarters with a comfortable lead. While seemed like the Celtics will take home yet another blow-out win, Dean Wade came off the bench with a thunderous performance.

In the first three quarters, Wade had a very poor shooting display with only 3 points under his name. The shorthanded Cavs without Donovan Mitchell trusted the 27-year-old bench player in the clutch and he delivered it to the side.

Notably, this dramatic action happened in front of the Kelce brothers, who came to the game after an emotional event. The Kelce family had a tough day as Jason Kelce announced his retirement from football. However, Wade sure did lighten up mood for the Kelce brothers, as they jumped in joy after the Cavs’ success.
