America’s ongoing celebrity golf game is a spectacle to behold in the NBA offseason. And much of this interest stems from a sharpshooter’s sensational strokes and swings on the course. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is not only settling scores with his NFL rival but also swinging like a pro. His immaculate stroke-making makes many believe that the $160 million rich Chef is going home richer.
But one-half of Splash Brothers isn’t playing his beloved sports for money. The Warriors star earlier missed this year’s ESPYS for his casual golf outing with his father. However, his passionate participation in the celebrity golf tournament seems to be a sure shot at some big reward.

Notably, Curry is playing in the American Century Championship (ACC) event that has gained popularity over the years due to its entertaining format and big money. According to its official fact sheet, the event offers a total prize pool of $600,000. The winner of the tournament bags a whooping $125,000.

Curry’s chances are brighter than his competitors, given his teenage ties with the game. ACC is an annual celebrity golf event bringing together superstar athletes, Hall of Famers, and actors. All of them are united by their love for golf. Among them is Patrick Mahomes of the NFL. Before coming to the event, Mahomes had an edge over Curry with his fortnight older golf victory. But Curry settled scores in the ongoing tournament itself and gave everyone a glimpse of his golf brilliance.
Other notable participants in the tournament include Davante Adams, Ray Allen,
Charles Barkley, Dell Curry, Brian Baumgartner, and many more. The field also includes Tony Romo, who won the event last year and is looking to reclaim the title in 2023.ADVERTISEMENT
