De’Aaron Fox has been blessed both as a father and a player. As a player, this season has been successful for him. The Sacramento Kings star is coming off a year where he averaged 26.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 2.0 steals per game, while shooting 46.5% from the field and 36.9% from beyond the arc in the 74 games he has played so far.

As a father, Fox recently revealed the first pictures of his newborn on Instagram. And they couldn’t be more adorable. “There’s nothing I’ve ever wanted more than to grow a family with you. Reigny’s going to be the best big brother,” the Kings star announced earlier this year on his Instagram. And this good news just added to the overall excitement, serving as the cherry on top of the celebration cake.

The caption from De’Aaron Fox read: “8/7/24 My California Golden Poppy.” When Fox first shared the news of his newborn earlier this year, a fan commented, “You’re a winner on and off the court twin,” reflecting the excitement of many. The NBA world is buzzing with joy over Fox’s second child, a baby girl. Stephen Curry was among the first to congratulate him with “Congrats bro!” and others like Trae Young, Morgan Ragan, Christopher Duarte, and Williams III joined in with messages like “Congrats my dawg!”

De’Aaron Fox’s world – meet the Kings star’s family

The adorable Fox family includes their first child, Reign, born in February 2023. Little Reign has captured hearts with his frequent appearances at games, showcasing his cuteness from the stands. Since Reign’s arrival, De’Aaron Fox has seen a notable boost in his performance on the court. Analysts observed that Fox, now more confident, averaged 32.1 points on 56.7% shooting, along with 4.3 rebounds, seven assists, and 1.9 steals in the eight games following his son’s birth.

De’Aaron Fox has much to thank his wife, Recee Fox, for his joyful and supportive world. Recee, a former McDonald’s All-American and college basketball player for UCLA, Texas Tech, and Cal-Berkeley, faced a setback with a broken wrist that cut short her WNBA career with the Seattle Storm. Despite this, she continued her passion for basketball through internships with the Washington Wizards and Golden State Warriors. The couple’s mutual support has been noted by Kings owner Vivek Ranadive, who admires their journey from when De’Aaron was a 19-year-old rookie to now being a 26-year-old father of two.

Recee Fox’s unwavering support plays a crucial role in De’Aaron’s success. She shared in an interview, “If he has a bad game, a lot of the times my thing is, ‘Did you stay healthy? Are you happy?’ That’s what I care about. Obviously, he’s not going to be happy that he lost, but De’Aaron as a human being first is what I care about. This basketball stuff will be good for 12 years, and then it’s going to be our relationship that we have to focus on after.”

With Recee and his two kids watching their father play, the Kings star is well set to carve out a niche for himself while dominating on the hardwood and winning in life!
