Kelly Oubre Jr. has been sidelined for ten days now due to an accident involving a hit-and-run case. After initial examinations, the guard was set to sit out games as he recovered from some fractured ribs. He has missed five games so far. Fans have been curious to know when he will be returning and it seems like we finally have an update.
While talking to the media, head coach Nick Nurse was asked whether the 27-year-old would be ready to play anytime soon. He replied, “Yeah, there might be a chance. I think we’re in a stage where we’re not sure how he’s gonna handle the contact part of it.” Nurse confirmed that Oubre’s participation in games would depend on how well his body can handle the physicality and contact of the game.
