Stephen Curry will go down as the greatest shooter and one of the best players of all time. He has won four NBA titles, two NBA MVP, and numerous All-Star and All-NBA selections. Steph revolutionized basketball by shifting the NBA’s focus to three-point shooting and ball movement, away from big men dominating the paint. Of course, it helped that his father Dell Curry was a sharpshooter for the Charlotte Hornets in the late 80s and early 90s.

She also helped Steph during his formative years and in 2022 made media tours to promote her memoir, Fierce Love.

After telling about this scary situation about writing and getting her book published, the conversation took a more serious turn. Sonya opened up about her insecurities and fears regarding her recent divorce from Dell. She said, “They’re gonna judge me. Who am I without being somebody’s wife, and I am a failure now because now that’s a mark against me. That’s a mark against my character. I am a divorcee. We, Christians, don’t get divorced, we stick it out. People are going to question my faith and my relationship with Christ. So all that was happening while I am trying to birth this book”.
