The Boston Celtics did not manage to make it to the In-Season Semi-Finals vs the Indiana Pacers. Haliburton-led Pacers were too fast for Lucky the Leprechaun to catch. Not happy with how things had turned out, Jayson Tatum had vented his frustration post-game. Still not satisfied, he took to Instagram, claiming his win in the shoe game.

This has become somewhat of a trend among NBA players. James Harden had just finished hyping his design just hours ago. Not to mention the whole Anthony Edwards and Adidas incident involving KD.

Let’s take a look at Jay’s story update. Jay showcases the Tatum 1 “Wave Runner” and tags the senior designer Kelsey Amy with the caption, “Not sure anyone else has better color ways than us.” The “Wave Runner” was released on October 20.

Inspired by Tatum’s water-based trips with family, the design team has given the kicks a distinct Miami vibe. With bright colors, and matching hues, the sneakers feature palm graphics, in addition to Jayson’s jersey number and signature.

They were released in both adult and kid sizes, making them an instant favorite with everyone. At least he has something to find comfort in.

James Harden is utterly thrilled with his latest signature line

Harden signed with Adidas in 2015 for a long 13-year $200 million contract. Since then, he has been the face of Adidas. Even though his on-court activities were filled with uncertainty, the “Beard” still thrived off the court. With the release of Harden Vol. 8 fixed for February 2024, the former MVP just cannot keep quiet.

In his latest Instagram post, Harden makes some bold promises. “When these drop that’ll be the best hoop shoe two years straight, no debate! 😤 #Uno #Vol8,” he captioned.

Quite a statement to make. Especially considering that Vol. 8 did not have the expected response after its first look was released to the public. Another NBA player that got quite a lot of attention was the Timberwolves’ Alpha – Anthony Edwards.

Edwards’ sneaker line is called AE 1 and is set to release on December 16th. With regards to this, the young guard was asked who he’d like to see wear his kicks. His response was an Adidas ex-member and the Suns’ top veteran, Kevin Durant.

Not missing a beat, KD had slapped back with a “Won’t EVER see me put a big toe in them Mfers.” Of course, this led to a since-deleted cheeky response from the sports giant. But what made even bigger headlines was a subsequent response to the above. “Meant to send that from the burner account…” Ouch!

If the previous response hadn’t done damage, this one must have struck a chord.
