The Los Angeles Lakers have managed to sign another free agent. After their successful season with the rising star Austin Reaves, the Lakers look to be placing bets on some other free-agency trades. They signed Rui Hachimura for $51 million for 3 years, and they resigned D’Angelo Russell for $36 million for 2 years. However, recently they signed a 24-year-old forward.

This 6’7 forward has played with 3 other teams prior to the Lakers, namely the Hawks, Knicks, and the Trail Blazers. And now he is ready to represent the Lakers and has even been acknowledged by Captain America himself, Austin Reaves.

Cam Reddish, the versatile forward, is about to embark on an exciting new chapter in his NBA career by joining the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers acquired Reddish from the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2023 trade deadline. In his 20 games with Portland, he averaged 11.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. However, his shooting statistics emphasized his scoring effectiveness, including 44.3% from the field, 31.8% from beyond the arc, and 83.3% from the free-throw line.

Reddish has worn the jerseys of the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, and Portland Trail Blazers throughout his NBA career. Regardless of the detours along the road, his potential and adaptability have always been clear. In 173 NBA games, he has averaged 10.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, demonstrating his ability to affect the game on both sides of the court.

The Lakers’ explosive combination of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, suffered injuries like a ruptured tendon in their right foot and a bone spur and stress reaction in their right foot.
