The 2020 NBA Championship was discredited by many fans after LeBron James lifted that title in the Bubble. Deeming it the “Mickey Mouse Ring” because of the Bubble being located in Disney World, fans believe King James’ 4th title is not as prestigious as some of the other NBA championships. Critics devalue the 2020 championship for many reasons, including the absence of a live crowd, shortened regular season, and unprecedented circumstances. But most NBA players have a different opinion on the topic.

Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard recently validated King James’ “Bubble Ring” with his comments. Backing Dame’s opinion, a veteran ESPN analyst believes the only reason fans ridicule the 2020 championship is because it was won by LeBron James in a Lakers uniform.
