There has been a lot of drama surrounding James Harden in the last few months. The 34-year-old has confused the NBA community with his off-court antics. Although there have been times when the fans had his back, things like missing preseason rituals on purpose have kept him in the wrong. However, he has been back with the team for some time now and everything looks like it’s going well for the Philadelphia 76ers now.

His beef with Daryl Morey is still ongoing, despite Harden being at the camp. Recently, a billionaire owner had his say on the Morey-Harden saga. He sided with The Beard during this complete fiasco while blasting Morey for poorly handling the issue. Hours after that, a recent clip of Harden training with Tyrese Maxey is giving hope to the 76ers fans.

While it is not unusual for players to show their disaffection toward something, Harden took it to another level. From spewing venom on his China tour to repeatedly blasting the management, he did it all. After all that, Harden put a temporary pause on the antics by missing preseason shoots and media days with the team.

The 2018 NBA MVP returned with the team in time of practice. He wants a trade and is being accused of resorting to such ways just to force a trade with the franchise. While the 76ers are not bending to his demands yet, the ex-owner has openly shown respect to Harden.

Michael Rubin, former 76ers owner blasted Morey for the way he has treated this drama unfolding. He said “It wouldn?t have happened. James is family to me and I?m not going to hide about that. I love James. This thing is breaking my heart. This thing was just not handled well.”?Additionally, he said that nobody is as focused as Harden when it comes to focusing on winning a championship. However, he believes that his preconceived image, which is often wrong puts Harden in a tough spot with people who don’t know him.

James Harden gives the franchise some hope

The 76ers are in desperate need of a makeover and there is no better person than the 10x All-Star for the job. Recently, a clip was posted by the Sixers on Instagram that shows Harden and 22-year-old Tyrese Maxey shooting threes together. This was enough for the fans to start looking for a better tomorrow as they flooded the comments with such responses.
