However, an injury sustained by Luka Doncic may have made things easier for the Clippers. During the first quarter, Doncic ended up injuring his hand while attempting to steal the ball away from James Harden.

According to Mavericks beat writer Grant Afseth, ?Luka Doncic (hand) went to the locker room after being subbed out. He was noticeably bothered by it early in the game and continued to be. He yelled “f**k” at one point after passing the ball.?

Luka Doncic?s absence from the game is going to cripple the Mavericks. But if the injury sustained by the Slovenian star is severe, this could indefinitely hamper the run, overall record, and the momentum Dallas has going on for them.
