Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has emerged as the one of most controversial NBA stars in the recent times. The 23-year-old star engaged in multiple controversies in the last season alone. The issues range from on-court beef to gun possession off the court. Even after multiple disciplinary actions taken on him, Morant continued to end up in trouble. Incidentally, after the announcement of a hefty fine and a long suspension, the star seemed to have gone low profile in the offseason. However, a $10 million worth DJ recently trashed the star for the gun controversy in an interview.
It all started in a strip club for Morant, when he flashed a gun during an IG live. Even though the league took immediate action by suspending him for 8 games. When the buzz around the controversy boiled down, he did it again. However, this time around the league didn’t spare him easily. The league announced a 25-game suspension and a hefty $7.6 million fine. Months after the announcement, DJ Akademiks has made a harsh comment on the star.

He further continued to trash talk on the NBA All-Star, saying he went to the wrong draft instead of military draft.
Moreover, the DJ went on to give a career suggestion to the Grizzlies star. He later added, “His [Morant] idea of being cool is plain and waving around guns.” He further suggested enrolling him in the military and stressed that the NBA may not be the right choice for the star.
