This new season is unfolding like a movie. Every day there’s a piece of news that is pushing for tough, interesting conversations. In addition to that, the drama doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. One of the pioneers of this year’s drama is James Harden. The Beard has been pulling some moves off the court that can perk up anyone’s ears. However, all the offseason antics seem to be raining down on him, now that he’s back at the camp.

In fact, the aftermath of his actions could be more disastrous than what one can fathom as of now. Although the 34-year-old is still willing to be traded, the Philadelphia 76ers are in no mood to entertain it. On top of it, he also stands on the verge of losing his star power on the team.

Is James Harden being made to pay for his actions?

Harden has made some pretty sly moves against his team management in recent times. A while ago, the 2018 MVP was spewing venom on Daryl Morey during his trip to China. Although he was heavily criticized on the internet for doing so, it didn’t seem to have any effect on Harden. After that, Harden willfully excused him from annual team rituals. It is a standard practice for teams to get together right before the preseason for media day and team events.

Of all the names in the 76ers roster, Harden was missing. A few days later, he did join the team at training, but the damage was done. Following the disrespectful choices made by Harden, reports suggest that he is still forcing a trade. However, the 76ers franchise is showing no signs of caving in. Moreover, a new report suggests, ?Nick Nurse could bench Harden and let Tyrese Maxey gain experience as a primary ballhandler.?

As disastrous as it will be for his career, the 10x All-Star is unwilling to budge.

If the rumor turns out to be true, and Harden is benched for Tyrese Maxey, that’ll create a huge amount of uproar.

Will Harden have his way with the 76ers?

There is no questioning the star power of Harden. However, many believe that he has lost all leverage in these shenanigans. Despite being put on the spot, the 34-year-old is still pushing for a trade.

As per several reports, he is still trying his best to move from the franchise he has been with since last year. Additionally, according to sources, “Morey is unlikely to allow Harden?s behavior to force his hand to make a trade.”
