The Heat come off beating the Charlotte Hornets 111-105, wrapping up a 4-0 road trip. But the franchise will be shorthanded due to injury scares for Tyler Herro and Caleb Martin in Thursday’s face-off. In the nine games this season, Butler is averaging a decent 20.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. While he was unable to hit the 20-point mark in his initial three games, he hit this bar soon against the Lakers. Taking care of the offense in Herro’s absence, the small forward is running high numbers to keep the team afloat.

Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler, who was out against the Atlanta Hawks due to undisclosed family reasons, will display his hard-nosed intensity and standout attack mindset against the Nets tonight. After dealing with the trade rumors early on this season, the small forward is going full-throttle against the opponents to help sustain the wins.

Tyler Herro

Herro, who set the conference finals record for the youngest player to score 30+, suffered a Grade 2 ankle sprain while taking a driving layup in Wednesday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. After the injury scare in the first quarter, Herro missed the rest of the game. As the “Boy Wonder” was advised to be in a walking boot for the following 10 days, the reevaluation will take place in a week.

The game against the Nets will mark his fourth straight game to be missed.

Caleb Martin, who has missed the last 10 games with left knee tendinosis, is still out for the Heat’s game against the Nets on Thursday. After succumbing to an injury to his left knee during offseason workouts, he was a limited participant during a few training camp practices. Along with that, “The Difference” missed the first four preseason games.

Jimmy Butler and co. vs Charlotte Hornets

Buttler scored his season-high against the Hornets, registering a 32-point score coupled with four rebounds and five assists in a 111-105 win. After helping the franchise enter the NBA finals last year, the player seems to be rolling on the same wave. Although the team fell short in their quest to win the Larry O’Brien, the six-game winning streak seems to continue as the team practice sessions are very heated. With Herro and Martin taking a break because of the injury scare, the two-man play of Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler can keep the team afloat.
