These past four days have been nothing short of a nightmare for the LA community. With the ongoing wildfires setting everything on its path ablaze, thousands of residents have lost their homes and businesses. Unfortunately, the tragedy is yet to pass as reports revealed that the Palisades fire has now moved northeast, impacting the Brentwood area and causing more people to evacuate. Yes, the same place where LeBron James once owned two multi-million-dollar mansions and lives to this day. Sure enough, the continuous onslaught of nature’s wrath on LA has left LBJ devastated.

Heartbroken by the tragedy, James tweeted, “I pray this nightmare ends soon! So many prayers.” Well, the current evacuation orders affect a massive region, including the area of LeBron’s residence, and LA Fire Department Captain Erik Scott said, “The Palisades fire has got a new significant flare-up on the eastern portion and continues to move northeast.”

Hopefully, LeBron’s prayers will be answered soon, putting an end to this devastation. Obviously, the Lakers superstar has a special connection with Brentwood as he purchased a $21 million mansion there when he was still on the Cavs roster. And then, he bought another one just a couple of years later for $23.5 million. Although he sold one of the mansions four years ago, King James continues to live in the second one even today. But the LA wildfires have now posed a threat to his beloved residence.

Of course, other Lakers members have already been impacted by the wildfires. JJ Redick’s Palisades home where he lived with his family tragically burned down. Even Steve Kerr’s childhood home was taken out by the constantly spreading fire. Moreover, this is not the first time LeBron has had to deal with such incident.

Well, it was six years ago when similar fires occurred in California, affecting the Brentwood area. Sure, they were not at the same scale as the current ones, but they did force LeBron and his family to evacuate their home. And James revealed his struggles it in a tweet that night, “Man these LA fires aren’t no joke. Had to emergency evacuate my house and I’ve been driving around with my family trying to get rooms. No luck so far!” Fortunately, James gang eventually found a suitable accommodation to get through the day.

Even that time, James sent out his prayers to the entire community, “I pray for all the families in the area that could be affected by these fires. now! Pretty please get to safety ASAP.” Sure enough, the people of Los Angeles came out of that tragedy stronger, and surely, they will do the same this time. Prayers Up!
