The State Farm Arena erupted when a Trae Young-less Atlanta Hawks blew out the Charlotte Hornets by 41 points. The final score was 91-132, which is among the largest victory margins this season. However, the Hawks’s spectacular win isn’t getting all the limelight as the game was star-studded, to say the least. Stars from Hollywood to K-pop graced the Arena with their presence resulting in encounters that have fans holding their breath.

Among the notable A-List celebrities present was War Machine a.k.a Don Cheadle himself, who was seen dapping up Young from the sidelines. But the main attraction was the presence of Academy Award Winning star of films such as ‘Devil Wears Prada’ and ‘The Princess Dairies’, Anne Hathaway.

That’s not all, the list also includes K-pop sensations Anyujin and Liz. A recent post on X highlights the meetup of these legends from different walks of life.

This isn’t the first time the ‘Devil Wears Prada’ actor has been to a hoops game. Earlier this season, she was in MSG watching the New York Knicks face the Hornets. While she isn’t a regular like some popular mascots, for instance, Jack Nicolson, Hathaway can appear now and then. This time her appearance seemed to have been in the Hawks’s favor who needed this win.

What’s the Post-season picture for the Atlanta Hawks?

Currently, Atlanta is the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference. Their hopes of having an impactful playoff run shattered after Young suffered a torn ligament in the fifth finger of his left hand. Subsequently, their franchise star went through surgery in late February, ruling out any chance of his return until four weeks at least. Since Trae’s departure, the Hawks have played 14 games and won 7 of those encounters, so it’s also too early to count them out.

With 31 wins and 39 losses, their win percentage is way below 40. However, Atlanta will surely make the play-in tournament against the Bulls as the 11th-seeded Nets are unlikely to precede them with only 25 wins to their name. Despite it seems almost impossible to make a playoff appearance right now, a string of wins can perhaps help them navigate through the play-in.
