After soccer stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Naymar Jr, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James might be the latest target on the Saudi Arabia’s superstars scouting radar. Notably, King James has already expressed his wish to play for the Saudi league via a hilarious tweet a few weeks ago.

The Chosen One showed his eagerness when Saudi Pro League proposed a whooping $700 million offer to Kylian Mbappe. Several NBA stars reacted hilariously including the Akron Hammer. But the billion-dollar offer to the active billionaire basketball player is the biggest sports bid.

Saudi league offers a whopping deal to LeBron James

With less than a month into the next NBA season, James is all set to chase his 5th ring with the Lakers. Notably, the superstar broke the NBA record for the most points scored in the history of the league, earlier this year. Amid all this legacy, the 4x NBA Championship seemed to be the next target for Saudi Arabia.

A popular Arabic media house, Asian Nawaf, with 600k+ followers on X reported the billion-dollar update. The message from the official X handle of Asian Nawaf stated, “A Saudi club wants to sign American basketball player LeBron James worth $1 billion!” While there isn’t clarity on further details about the update, fans on the comments went haywire.

Akron Hammer may surprise the NBA world with his decision, as he expressed his awe at the recent Kylian Mbappe offer via his social media.

King’s reaction to Mbappe’s offer

In response to Mbappe’s $700 million offer, James took to X, which was Twitter then, and wrote, “Me headed to Saudi when they call @RichPaul4 and @mavcarter for that 1-year deal!” and shared a funny video.” Even Giannis Antetokounmpo tweeted, “Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe.”

Moreover, DrayMagic tweeted, “They got basketball leagues too right? I don’t the ink on my contract has dried up yet.”
