At the age of 35, Stephen Curry is defying all notions of losing a step. In the 2023 season, he is heading strong, averaging nearly 29 points per game, along with 5 rebounds and 4 assists, while maintaining a three-point clip above 40%. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his teammates, as the Golden State Warriors are grappling with significant challenges this season; especially marked by consistent underperformance from their star players.

These struggles have put an immense burden onto Curry’s shoulders. With each passing game, the weight is growing and becoming evident in the visible signs of frustration from the former MVP. The breaking point occurred recently in a game against the Phoenix Suns, where the Warriors continued to struggle, rendering all of Curry’s efforts in vain.

Recently, a circulating video has unveiled leaked audio, shedding light on the incident where Stephen Curry, visibly frustrated, kicked and slapped chairs on the sideline. Curry’s ire stemmed from the Warriors’ struggle to secure a defensive stop. In the footage, Steph passionately exclaims, “This is bulls**t,” before emphatically questioning his teammates, “Can’t we get a f***ing stop?”

The Warriors’ defeat against the Suns now makes their season a 10-13 journey, positioning them 11th in the Western Conference. With a two-game losing streak, they are going through a 4-6 run in their last ten games. Now, their next challenge awaits against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Curry does not shy from holding teammates accountable

We typically know Stephen Curry for maintaining his cool, exuding charisma, and unique celebrations even in moments of frustration.
