Here is what Curry had to say about his shooting struggle. “I’ve been in this situation before, where you start off hot and cool down a little bit. I hold myself to a high standard and know I need to shoot the ball better and play better, more consistent. Provide that punch that scares teams and gets us going.”

He continued, “Even when my numbers are down, but my confidence always remains high. It’s hard to be perfect for all 82 but you still play the same way over the course of the season.”

On paper, Curry’s numbers do not seem to be alarming. He paired the 25-point performance with 7 assists, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal. But when you look at his shooting numbers, that’s when it becomes a point of concern.

Will the Warriors be able to make another push?

At first, fans were convinced that after losing Draymond Green, the Golden State Warriors did not stand a chance. But the team’s rookies stepped up along with other players on the roster as well.

However, that initial momentum seems to be running out as the Warriors are back to losing games. Apart from Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson too had a horrific game against the Dallas Mavericks.

In the entire 26 minutes of playing time, Thompson only had 3 points while attempting 11 total shots. He only managed to sink one three-pointer, going 1-6 from beyond the arc. If this continues, the Warriors may very well be in trouble and may not even make the playoffs this year.
