Now, amidst the full-throttle NBA season, Stephen Curry is reminiscing about this year’s Underrated Golf Curry Cup Championship held in August.

Steph shared a video on his Instagram that shows glimpses of the experiences in the tournament. The short clip conveys Curry’s core vision to help young golfers achieve their dreams and create opportunities for them in various professional arenas. “The underrated tour went beyond golf. It was a testament to what’s possible when dreams are empowered by technology and fueled by determination with each swing. Competitors reshaped the future, proving that in the world of golf and in life, greatness knows no bounds,” the video narrates.

In his caption, Steph also conveyed his gratitude to sponsors CDW Careers for connecting the young athletes with the CDW Players’ Lounge and to Dell, for providing gaming gear and giving the students and their families an Esports experience. He added that it was not only a blast, but it also encouraged the youngsters to consider careers in STEM and IT domains.

Chef Curry was not new to the American Century Championship, as he had already played in the tournament for many years. However, in July of this year, he made history by becoming the first-ever African-American athlete to lift the ACC trophy by sinking a 20-foot putt on the final 18-hole.

He broke yet another record by becoming the first active athlete since 2000 to take home the ACC trophy. Known for his humanitarian initiatives, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the 35-year-old donated the entire $125,000 winnings back to the organization for their charitable purposes.
