Can the Warriors really stop a superteam of Curry, LeBron, and Giannis from dominating the NBA?

As the twilight of Stephen Curry’s career approaches, the Warriors‘ hope of a Championship fades away slowly. The core of Klay, Steph, and Green is not there to shoulder the burden collectively anymore. KT let go for the Mavs and Dray had confessed on the Club 520 pod in July that he has “probably got two more (seasons)” left in him. So this is already turning out to be a rapid decline for the Warriors and Steve Kerr. What’s the best way possible to soften the blow or reverse it?

Though it might seem a little hypothetical, coach Kerr has still got hope. Warriors Today host Tyler Smith revealed the glimmer of hope that the Dubs have left as he said, “I think it’s one player that can get them to Championship status. It’s Giannis Antetokounmpo.” One of the best power forwards available to the league right now, the Greek Freak will enter his 12th campaign with the Milwaukee side.

Just like Steph is to the Warriors, Giannis is an asset to the Bucks. Even host Tyler knew that the Greek Freak wasn’t “getting traded.” Yet he took inspiration from Paul Pierce’s dream of hope for the Bay Area. Well, the thought was genuine since Antetokounmpo averaged 30.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists with over 61% shooting from the field.

Hence, as per Smith, Steph and Giannis would be the “best duo” in the NBA. “A guy who’s already won a Championship can usher in the next era of the Warriors basketball and can maximize Steph Curry’s final years of his career,” the analyst said, giving his final thoughts on the hypothetical trade.

Similar rumors took no time to fly through the hoops community when LeBron James And Stephen Curry annihilated teams for fun at the Paris Olympics. Will this plan to acquire Giannis ruin that legendary union that people have been waiting to see for years?

Will the Warriors focus on long or short-term gains with Stephen Curry at the helm?

After LeBron James and Stephen Curry’s Gold medal triumph, the rumors of them playing together caught fire. To add fuel to the fire, the Splash Brother even removed “Guard for Warriors” from his Instagram bio all of a sudden. It was enough for the fans to speculate about the union of the deadly duo on the court in the NBA. Even their stats line at the Paris Olympics was quite close. The Laker averaged 15.5, while Steph racked up 14.8 points through the tournament.

And who can forget the alley-oop formation from Stephen Curry and LeBron James during the exhibition games? However, with the new equation that the Warriors Today host provided, the legendary sharpshooter and King James might not get together. As per his words, Giannis and Steph can be the best duo, considering a future lock with the Bucks’ young gun’s unfathomable potential.
